There may be times when you want to make sure your horizon line is level, or maybe you will want to ensure that your text in a video is aligned. Showing rulers and guides in Adobe Premiere Pro is a great way to help you make sure everything looks great. If you’ve worked with rulers and guides in other Adobe programs, like Indesign, you will find they work in a similar fashion.
You can find the guides in the View Menu and you can also add a Button in your program monitor for quick access as well.
You can even create rule of thirds guides quickly and easily. This video below shows you how.
