Student Press Law Center Executive Director Frank LoMonte said the third edition of the SPLC’s Law of the Student Pressis ready for sale at the JEA/NSPA convention in St. Louis. The book is 416 pages and updates the last edition, published in 1994. Updates include the latest developments in online publishing law, “fair use” of copyrighted materials, the aftermath of Morse v. Frederick and other hot topics affecting student media. Both LoMonte and for executive director Mark Goodman will sign copies of the book at the convention.
