My KnightTV students were lucky enough to have their broadcast of a recent football game simulcast over the Marquee Sports Network, which carries Chicago Cubs games, so as you can imagine, they were pretty fired up about it. I knew they would bring their “A” game, so I figured it would be a good broadcast to use for a post like this.
Using Loom, I recorded myself walking through some of the key moments from early in our broadcast, pointing out some things we did that you might want to incorporate into your live sports coverage. Because I wanted to keep it to 15 minutes, you’re not going to see things like our halftime interview with the coach, the halftime stats going up on the screen, or strategic cuts to the student section, so if you want to know more about any of that, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at jason.block@d214.org.
