High school senior uses TheRecruitScoop.com to create college recruiting network, job after graduation

A story in the New York Times describes a teenager who created his own social media niche with his love for basketball, his desire to connect, and his instinctive work ethic.

It’s somewhat of a Cinderella story as well as a sign of how future career paths are unpredictable, because no one knows exactly what they will look like.  This certainly provides a glimpse.

College coaches follow the 17-year-old’s information.  He has 21,000 followers on Twitter, and his website, The RecruitScoop.com, has “officially become a partner with Rivals.com and Yahoo Sports,” according to a an article in the Sunday Sports Section.
