Adobe Max Inspiration: Using Metrics to Build a Successful Social Media Strategy

If you’re looking to grow your staff’s social media presence and have a bit stronger of a strategy with what you are doing in your social spaces, you should check out Andy Lambert’s session from Adobe Max titled “Using Metrics to Build a Successful Social Media Strategy.”

The session is not for people who just want to look at cool social media posts, it’s really for people who want to level up in understanding social media and some of the planning and strategy that goes on behind the scenes. In the video, Andy focuses on three main things:

  1. Social media trends and data to know
  2. Steps to increasing your social media impact
  3. The biggest metric you need to measure

I found a lot of the data he shared interesting, especially the parts about engagement rate and tips for increasing reach. It’s a great session to give you and your staff a couple new ideas to implement with your social team’s planning and execution.

While I gained a lot from his session in person, I got even more out of it when I watched it again online here. For some of you who are new to reach and engagement and social strategy, you might want to watch it twice to get the most out of it.
