JEA members are invited to apply by April 30, 2020, to chair one of the organization’s committees or lead a signature program of the association for a three-year term. Leadership roles are available in the following areas:

  • Awards chair
  • Certification chair
  • Journalist of the Year coordinator
  • Scholastic Journalism Week coordinator

Information about these positions and the presidential appointment process is online in the bylaws and job descriptions. To apply for one of the positions above, members should submit a letter of interest, including a description of goals for the position, and resume to President Sarah Nichols, MJE, by April 30.
