The Journalism Education Association seeks a part-time administrative assistant to maintain the financial accounts, including processing of payments and receipts, for the organization. Hours are flexible, but the position would be 20 hours a week.

Six months of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work is required, although education may be substituted for experience. Education beyond a high school diploma is preferred, as is familiarity with spreadsheets and/or accounting software.

Our five-person headquarters staff serves 2,500 members across the country and world. To that end, the person in this position needs terrific teamwork, communication and customer service skills.
