Original post Sept. 3, 2021:

Due to recent troubling trends in the COVID-19 pandemic, JEA and NSPA have decided to postpone the opening of registration for the Fall JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention.

The safety and wellbeing of our members and students are our top priority. We continue to assess the complex landscape as we engage in extensive discussions daily to explore all options at our disposal.

We will release more information as the situation unfolds. We encourage all of you to get vaccinated and take every precaution necessary to help end this pandemic.
