Jea 100 Logo that reads Endowment

The Journalism Education Association connects 2,600 members (and growing) with the tools to build stronger journalism classrooms.

We are launching an endowment to serve diverse groups including our members and their students to support our association’s long-term sustainability goals.

Being an adviser is a tough job, but our members are uplifting each other, sharing their tips and tricks, and sharpening their skillset. We put advisers at the center of our mission and help them navigate these challenges with strong education, consistent curriculum and a vibrant community. Journalism teachers and advisers are pushing their students to learn how to seek and deliver meaningful information.

JEA has supported journalism educators for 100 years, and we are committed to supporting scholastic journalism into the future.

Contribute to this vibrant community’s future by endowing any amount. JEA will be able to continue to pay it forward by providing more resources, educational opportunities and support to teachers and their students with your help.

Learn more about our first endowment from the Bowens and Tom Eveslage. Fill out this interest form or email veronica@jea.org to start giving to the new endowment or give now.

JEA is a 501c3 (EIN: 41-094778) and contributions are tax-deductible. Consult your financial advisor for more tax information.
