Describe your space for us.
We have a classroom, lab area with 24 iMacs, and a studio. Our space is extremely small and always messy. We do most of our organization through Google. Our lab is connected to a CTE graphics and design printing classroom. It is beneficial, because there are always extra computers to use and our printer is right next door.
What do you think are some of the benefits of the workspace you all have?
We are small, but that keeps communication close. Students are able to always be together. We also keep all updated software and have great computers.
What do your students like most about the workspace you have?
I think they like that we have lots of wall space, storage, and list space available.
What computer programs and/or apps is your staff using on a regular basis for their work?
Adobe Creative Suite
What tech equipment are your students using on a daily basis?
Canon T6i, iMac 2015, Mac server
Aside from the computers and the programs, what are one or two pieces of equipment that you have that you think other programs should have.
I would recommend operating on an external server from the school. It has come in handy when the rest of the school isn’t functioning.
How is your workspace funded?
Mostly school funded, but any extras are through ad sales and booster.
Do you have anything on your wishlist for your space? If so, what do you have and why?
A new server, because ours is ancient. An endless of supply of Post-Its (for obvious reasons.)
