Adobe Super Resolution: Double Your Resolution

For years I told students there wasn’t a button that could really make photos better. To make great high resolution photos make sure to use an amazing lens and a good camera. Well that isn’t the case anymore. Now in LightRoom photo resolution and quality can be doubled.

To increase the “SUPER RESOLUTION” open a photo in LR. There is a way to do it in PS, but LR is much more simple.

In LR, right click on the photo and then scroll down to ENHANCE. A box will pop open and then click on SUPER RESOLUTION. That is it. LR has doubled the “linear resolution of your file, quadrupling the total pixel count while preserving fine detail.”
