I had a staffer ask me yesterday how to duplicate an audio clip in his timeline and place it in another location. I showed him the 6-step process I knew to get the job done.
At the time, there was actually another student who won’t be a part of staff until next year who was standing behind us chimed in and said “Or you could just click on the clip, hold the alt key and move it to where you want it to go.”
I watched the process and quickly told the student with the original question that my way was not the way he should do things and he should listen to the new kid standing behind us.
This video show you what I’m referencing here and makes duplicating clips in Adobe Premiere a snap.
