JEA staffers arrived to work Monday morning at Kedzie Hall on the campus of Kansas State University to discover a complete power outage throughout the building. The power outage was the result of a lightning strike that occurred over the weekend, which broke an underground electrical line. The outage is expected to continue through Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The phones are inoperable at this time, but JEA staff members will be checking email remotely, so that is the best way to communicate. Use staff@jea.org to reach all staff members for assistance with membership questions.
