Several changes are in place for JEA contests at the Fall 2016 National JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention in Indianapolis. The Write-off system has migrated to a new site. The new site is writeoffs.jea.org.

In addition, there have been some revisions in a few of the photo contests to remove the newspaper/yearbook distinctions from categories. The revised contests include:
28: Sports Action Photography (online submission)
29: Sports Feature Photography (online submission)
30: Feature Photography (online submission)
31: General or Spot News Photography (online submission)

You can read the new descriptions on the JEA Write-offs rule page.
