Curriculum leaders announced

JEA is proud to announce the 14 members who will be leading the association’s curriculum initiative, developing learning outcomes, lesson plans/activities, applicability to Common Core State Standards, applicability to Partnership for 21st Century Skills, assessments and evaluation guides – for 14 content areas:

- NEWS GATHERING: Phil Dignan, CJE

- WRITING
- WRITING BASICS: Lori Oglesbee-Petter, MJE

The module leaders begin their work immediately, with online and physical meetings planned throughout the year. The initiative is set to unveil the curriculum in April 2014 in conjunction with the National High School Journalism Convention in San Diego.
