In celebration of Scholastic Journalism Week (Feb. 17-23), 45words encourages media staffs across the nation to participate in Cross Country Cookies.

All you need are 45 cookies and a group of passionate student journalists. Write one word from the First Amendment on each cookie . Then, put all of the cookies together in order, snap a picture, and tweet it @45words with the hashtag #45cookies or post it to our Facebook page.

We look forward to spreading the love of student journalism across the nation. Thank you for your participation.
