Adviser Photo winners

The Journalism Education Association hosted the fall 2025 JEA Adviser Photography Contest from Aug. 25 to Sept. 10. This themed contest provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding photojournalism amongst student media advisers. The theme for the fall contest was “Let’s Go.”

Fifteen advisers entered this contest modeled after the National Student Media Contests typically hosted at each JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention. 39 professional photographers and advisers judged the images. View the photo results on JEA’s SmugMug account.

The spring 2026 contest will open Monday, May 18, and entries will be due 1 p.m. CDT Friday, May 29. The spring theme will be announced when the contest opens.
