On Friday, Sept. 25, JEA announced Jim McCarthy as the 2020 National High School Broadcast Adviser of the Year. McCarthy teaches at Joseph A. Gregori High School in Modesto, California, and has been involved with publications since he started teaching in 1998.

You can read more about McCarthy and his honor on the JEA website. You will also see who was named as a Distinguished Broadcast Adviser and Special Recognition Broadcast Adviser this year.

The honorees will be recognized during a virtual awards ceremony on Nov. 21.
