Educators for Antiracism is a young organization focused on supporting classroom teachers with practical diversity and inclusion tools.

The organization was formed in 2020 after the first National Educators for Antiracism Conference, created in response to the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and the national outcry that followed. Educators for Antiracism aims to connect educators, communities of color and scholars developing best practices to give educators information, support and resources to build better classrooms.

The mission of the organization includes:

  • producing webinars and an annual conference
  • developing research
  • developing new educator resources
  • reviewing and promoting excellent educator antiracism resources, books, and programs
