We have a few resources on the JEA Digital Media site to help students create their own portfolios. You can find many of those posts here. If you’re looking for a two-week lesson plan that will help your students get theirs set, the JEA Curriculum has you covered.
The lesson comes with a Microsoft Word document download that breaks the process down into three specific parts and walks you through a rough outline of how this project can be completed in two weeks. As with all of the lessons in the JEA Curriculum, it’s tagged with Common Core State Standards and P21 Student Outcomes.
This curriculum is available to all JEA members. To access the curriculum, you must be logged in to the JEA Curriculum site. Once you are, you can access this lesson here: Web Capstone.
Check out the video here to learn more about the JEA Curriculum. If you’re a member you can login to access the curriculum here. If you’d like more information about the benefits of JEA or if you want to join JEA, you can find more information on JEA.org.
