If you’re looking for a nice unit that spans a couple weeks and will help level your students up with lighting, this is the activity for you.
The lesson is part of the JEA curriculum and covers everything from identifying lighting terms and understanding three-point lighting to classifying the difference between indoor and outdoor lighting and working with a green screen.
The lesson has a slideshow to use as well as numerous handouts and rubrics and it even has a quiz you can give.
This curriculum is available to all JEA members. To access the curriculum, you must be logged in to the JEA Curriculum site. Once you are, you can access this lesson here: Lighting and Multimedia Broadcast
