It’s always a good practice to take a step back every now and then and assess the direction you’re heading. Even though this often happens during the summer or at the beginning of a school year, it’s a good idea to do quick checks throughout the year to make sure that you’re still heading in the right direction.
The JEA Curriculum has a multi-day lesson to help your staff define and set those goals. As part of the lesson, students will research best practices of presentation and technology for a news website, develop architecture and strategies to maximize user satisfaction with a website and define the nature and purpose of the website. The lessons comes with a Survey Results Worksheet as well as a handout for students to assess group members’ work throughout the project.
This curriculum is available to all JEA members. To access the curriculum, you must be logged in to the JEA Curriculum site. Once you are, you can access this lesson here: Defining Website Goals.
