JEA Curriculum Highlight: CSS

This 50-minute lesson, part of the JEA Curriculum, does a nice job of giving students an introduction to CSS. Many get confused between HTML and CSS and their role in the web. Essentially, HTML deals with how the site works and CSS deals with how the site looks.

This lesson explores the basics of CSS while explaining how stylesheets work. The lesson includes a Slideshow and editable file to practice with. Students will need a free text editor program, computer access and a web browser. The lesson even includes a quick formative assessment.

This curriculum is available to all JEA members. To access the curriculum, you must be logged in to the JEA Curriculum site. Once you are, you can access this lesson here: CSS.
