Frame.io dropped version 4 of their software and there are some great updates within.
I’ve used frame.io with my video students for years. It’s been a gamechanger in the review/editing process as it allows me and my editors to give frame by frame feedback within the video itself and I can even make non-destructive drawings and notes on the video itself. Frame.io can be used for more than just videos though, it can be used for everything from photos to PDF files as well.
Through the school, the students and I have Adobe Enterprise accounts and we go with just the basic version of frame.io that’s included with our subscription. While it doesn’t allow us to have all the features of version 4 and while our storage space is limited, we have still found it an invaluable tool to request and give feedback during the creation process.
Check out the video here to see the new updates to the program and you can see more in their post here. If you haven’t had a chance to play around or use frame.io, I’d encourage you to login and give it a go.
