Alternatives to Copyright Music and Materials

Michelle Harmon recently posted a great resource on our site about the importance of Creative Commons. Copyright, fair use, and the public domain are also topics that enter my world of broadcasting on a daily basis. I recently responded in a blog post to a collegue of mine who was faced with the relentless and persistent questions from his students about what materials they can use, how they can use them, and why some students use Copyright work when other students are not allowed to. Michelle’s post got me thinking these topics would benefit our readers at JEA as well.
