The Journalism Education Association hosted the spring 2026 JEA Adviser Photography Contest from May 18-29. This themed contest provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding photojournalism amongst student media advisers. The theme for the spring contest was “Take a Break.”

Ten advisers entered this contest modeled after the National Student Media Contests typically hosted at each JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention. 48 advisers and media professionals judged the images and four were selected for recognition.
