JEA Advisers Institute brings journalism teachers from across the country together for a week of adviser-specific training and networking.
Monday’s Opening Reception is the first conference session starting at 8 p.m. On Tuesday, breakout sessions begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. On Wednesday, all attendees will participate in our Team Storytelling experience. This all-day event gets everyone out of the hotel to experience Washington. The Institute ends by noon Thursday.

JEA Advisers Institute Centennial sponsorship $5,000
• Same sponsorship options and benefits as Platinum Sponsorship, plus exclusive sponsorship of adviser reception gifts, 3x6 floor banner displayed at registration and general session events, 600x200 pixel digital header (top) ad on Advisers Institute website and Institute promotional emails.
Platinum sponsorship $1,500

- Adviser tote bags: Logo featured prominently on the bag design. Bag is given to all attendees.
- Opening Reception (Monday): Sponsor message at beginning of event — 5 minutes total, can be verbal remarks with slideshow and/or video presentation with optional table tent advertisements on all tables.
- Team Storytelling (Wednesday): Sponsor message at beginning of event — 5 minutes total, can be verbal remarks with slideshow and/or video presentation with optional table tent advertisements on all tables.

Sponsor one scholarship for a teacher to attend JEA Advisers Institute (scholarship recipient can be selected by sponsor or JEA) that includes travel, lodging and conference registration.

Specs and deadlines
Sponsorship benefits/promotions begin once contract and payment are received. Conference promotions begin in January, so more brand exposure is the earlier sponsorship is secured.

Breakout sessions — due by June 1
Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Session title, description and presenter information due by June 1 or as soon as possible. View ideas for session topics from the national convention to use for inspiration and guidance.
Full page ad for conference program — due by June 10
Ad size: 5x8 inches, high-resolution PDF file. Ad due to Lindsay Porter at Porter@jea.org by June 10.
Banner ad on the conference app — due by June 10
Ad size: 600x110 pixels (96 dpi), high-resolution JPG or GIF file. Ad due to Lindsay Porter at Porter@jea.org by June 10.
One promotional item submitted for inclusion in the tote bag — Due by June 20
Send 150 copies to JEA by June 20.
Acceptable items: postcards, flyers, stickers, pens/markers, notepads, sticky notes, small books, or other flat swag items less than 1 inch thick.
