About the award

This award is given to a professional journalist, professional media outlet or other individual or group making a significant contribution to scholastic journalism. JEA members are encouraged to nominate worthy individuals or groups. Several awards may be presented each year. Recipients will be honored at Saturday awards luncheon during the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention.
