Here’s who we are:

  • Linda Barrington, co-chair :  JEA’s liaison with the National Council of Teachers of English and design adviser for the student newspaper at Mount Mary College, Milwaukee
  • Julie Dodd, co-chair : professor in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida and JEA’s liaison with scholastic press association directors
  • Bill Flechtner : professor in the Department of Education at Warner Pacific College, Portland, Oregon and mentor
  • Peggy Gregory : Language Arts specialist, Dysart Unified School District, and retired newspaper adviser and teacher mentor
  • Mary Anne McCloud : JEA mentor for Kansas and former newspaper and yearbook adviser at Newton (Kan.) High School
  • Norma Kneese : journalism teacher and newspaper, yearbook and photography adviser at Snake River High School, Blackfoot, Idaho, and chair of the JEA Multicultural Commission
  • Judy Robinson : assistant professor in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida and the coordinator of technology activities for the Mentoring Program
